The need for foster parents in our community is significant, and CHJC aims to provide potential foster families with the tools and information they need to embark on this rewarding journey. This session is an opportunity to learn how to support children who need a safe and caring environment and to understand the role of foster and kinship care in strengthening our community.
“Foster parents play an essential role in the lives of children who need stability and support,” said Abigail Wilson, Recruitment and Training Specialist at CHJC. “We invite all interested individuals to join us for this virtual session to learn how they can offer guidance and a safe place for children in need.”
Participants will learn about the requirements for fostering, the support available from CHJC, and how fostering can lead to positive outcomes for both the child and the family.
